dial not noticeable enough

I feel the dial indicator is not noticeable enough, you can barely see it when trying to get a channel. The radio is a nice size handheld but you get what you pay for. The sound could be better. We seem to get enough channels, we take it ice fishing with us. It works for what we wanted it for and the price was right.

Excellent reception

I bought this for my mom who enjoys sitting outside or on the beach and listening to the radio. She said it had much better reception than any other radio she's owned, and that there isn't any static like the others. The sound quality is great for how tiny the radio is. It also has great battery life and an earphone jack so she can listen privately when necessary. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Great value and nice retro look.

Got this radio as an update to one that came with a dog fence wire break detection kit. It worked extremely well and saved me alot of time. After success with this venture and while waiting for a friend I tuned in several radio channels and was pleasantly surprised at the great sound quality. The Ipod was put away and the radio turned up.
