Took 3 TVs to get a good one!!

Date:June 29, 2010
Product Highlights: Picture/Image Quality, Easy to Use, Design, Value for Money, Sound Quality
I am writing this review to forewarn people about this product, as it took me 3 TVs and a lot of aggravation and headaches before getting one that actually worked properly and wasn't defective. And it should be noted that I base my 5 star rating solely on the 3rd and final TV that I received. For no other reason.....read on!
The first TV I got had a faint white line all the way down the screen all of the time....no problem....things happen. The store was accomodating and let me exchange it.
Got the 2nd TV home only to find out there was a "stuck" pixel. Meaning one little pixel showed up as lime green all of the time! Very distracting and certainly shouldn't not be there on a brand new TV. So I called the store and told them, they didnt have any more of this TV in stock. I asked when they were getting more in stock and the manager said he didn't know. I asked if he could order me one from another store.....to this he huffed and made me feel like I was just being bothersome. Also stating that maybe I should just get a refund and buy a brand name TV, which I didn't want to do because I only paid $699 for this one and would not find a deal like that again. Deal or no deal....a TV should not be defective right out of the box.....never mind TWO defective TVs right out of the box. Needless to say, a week later I get the 3rd FLUID TV. The 3rd one was the charm (thank God!).
I have to admit the customer service was pretty bad. They made me feel like I was inconveniencing them, wouldn't help in the least with carry or lifting the TVs, one guy even gave me full out attitude because I asked him to update their system, for warranty purposes, with the new TVs serial number!
Although I did finally get a TV that worked and was a good price, the staff treated me as if I were the inconvenience. I was treated almost as though because I had to keep returning the TVs that somehow I was putting them out. What about me? I live downtown and therefore have no vehicle, I had to beg friends to take me and help me (THREE TIMES!!). Also these TVs are big and awkward to be lugging around THREE TIMES!! I literally had to cart these TVs home, back to the store, home, back to the store, home....you get the picture. Yet the staff had the audacity to treat ME like the inconvenience? I guess I wasn't inconvenienced in the least in their minds! In fact the manager of the store (before ordering me another FLUID TV from another store) said..."why don't you just get your money back and go buy a popular brand name TV......WHAT? Did I hear that correctly? YES! The store manager was telling me NOT TO BUY THE SOURCE BRAND TVs! Now isn't that ironic?? Obviously their missing the boat here.....when you buy anything new...you expect it to work when you take it out of the box!! No matter what brand you bought!! It's new for gosh sake!! And yes I can see possibly getting a lemon...it happens sometimes. But really? THREE TVs just to get one that wasn't defective? COME ON!! That's really poor quality assurance, not to mention the poor customer service I was already experiencing.
All is fine now with the 3rd TV (hence the 5 star review of the 3rd TV), but the bottom line is that it really should not have taken 3 tries to get one that was not defective. Even though my 3rd TV is excellent, working well, great picture, great value....my fear is that these TVs won't last long. I mean 2 were defective right out of the box. What's mine going to be like in say 1 year? Even talking to the staff, two of them even admitted they would have gone with a more well known brand name and stated that because the 46" model is new to the FLUID line-up, that there could be unforeseen issues. I figured I'd chance as this TV was only $699.99 when I bought it (I would never have found a 46" brand name for $699.99 henc I stuck with it and finally got one that isn't defective.
All in all....I am now happy, but let me tell you...it was a heck of a lot of aggravation! I also still fear that this TV may not last as long as a brand name TV would.
The bottom line and my honest advice to you would be....if you only have a small budget (like me) and want a LARGE TV, then give this TV a shot (but be prepared to possibly have to work hard and fight for exchanges, experience rude customer service, etc)...But IF you have a few extra $$, please please please go with a more popular brand name TV.

Great picture quality

Date:July 7, 2010
Product Highlights: Picture/Image Quality, Easy to Use, Design, Value for Money
This is the first LCD TV purchase I have made. Great service and help at the store. Best price going for a 46". Fantastic value! It's a sleek looking TV and I'm very impressed with the image quality. It was very easy to setup and has plenty of inputs. Watching movies is a whole new experience on the large screen. Right now I have it connected to cable TV, PS3, Bluray player and to my computer. I even connected my DSLR camera to test the camera's HD video, WOW! it looks amazing. I don't use the audio, I have the sound piping through my Home theatre surround sound so I can't comment on the sound quality, but based on everything else I would HIGHLY recommended this TV

Great TV

Date:June 23, 2010
Product Highlights: Picture/Image Quality, Easy to Use, Design, Value for Money, Sound Quality
We purchased this in store and it's a great TV, haven't had any problems with it, has all the hookups-- currently hooked up to DVD Player/Sound System/PS3/XBOX360/Wii/Satellite -- the picture is great and the TV is easy to use. The only bad thing is that the remote that comes with it is horrible and I have yet to find a code for the Fluid brand so that I can use a different remote. The sound is very good, I don't need the sound system hooked up like I did with our old TV. Good buy, I would definitely recommend.

Exceeding Expactations!

Date:May 30, 2011
Product Highlights: Picture/Image Quality, Easy to Use, Design, Value for Money
This Fluid TV really deserves better credit than many reviews give it. The picture quality is outstanding. Compared to my parents 55" Sony HD Flat screen, it's just as good (besides being a smaller 46" screen). For the money, you simply can't go wrong.
The only thing, to which I agree with most other reviewers is the sound quality is so-so. Just get yourself an inexpensive pair of speakers to go with it :)

we absolutely love this TV. it fits right into our room, picture is great, sound is good and we love to watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs in HD. no complaints so far and have recommended this TV to our friends. the only thing i would like to change is the positioning of the hookups on the back of the TV. they are a little difficult to see when you are doing a hookup.

I've only had it for a couple of days put the picture is really nice, especially HD channels and blu ray. Sound quality is really good, set the sound setting to Concert and u won't have to turn it up very loud. The only downfall to this TV is the stand it sit's on. It is a huge pain to get together

Awesome value

Date:November 27, 2010
Product Highlights: Picture/Image Quality, Easy to Use, Value for Money, Sound Quality
Great picture and sound. As good or better than any of the brand name TV's that sell for significantly more money.
The one issue I had is with attaching the base tv, I did get it attached, but it did take a bit of work.
